Something We Can Do!
Der japanische Drum&Bass Produzent Makoto veröffentlicht eine Compilation mit dem Namen „Something We Can Do“ auf seinem Label HE:Digital, um die Opfer des neuen Erdbebens und Tsunamis in Japan zu unterstützen.
„This catastrophic event has had a huge impact on us, and I began to think of a way to help the victims,“ says Makoto. „I believe that music is a positive force that can be used to instill hope in people’s hears, so I decided to ask Japanese artists from around the country to contribute to a charity compilation in order to raise money to help those affected. In one week, the number of contributors grew from a few, to many, and began to reach beyond the shores of Japan to include artists from all over the world.“
Auf dem Album gibt es 15 noch unveröffentlichte Tracks von japanischen Künstlern. 100 % des Gewinns wird dem japanischen Roten Kreuz gespendet. Das Album wird am Mittwoch, dem 30. März auf http://somethingwecando.org veröffentlicht, ab 9. April ist es auf ITunes und auf Beatport ab dem 11. April verfügbar.
